ANU Prize selects the best social projects in Brazil, the award is given in the majestic "Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro. "
This award is much more which represents more than a symbol, a feeling of victory that comes just from the assumptions defeated by the system. This project by CUFA Brazil's main objective is to highlight actions that are performed within the "favelas" of the Brazilian territory.
The slums have more than a century of history, where its positive achievements rank among the social paradigms generated by its image. ANU Prize is to harness the growth of Social Responsibility issue through non-governmental social organizations.
The presentation of this mega event, was considered by the local and national press as the "show" the formerly oppressed, who are now responsible for the improvement of living standards of the neediest communities in Brazil.
Among the presenters were the artists Luciano Huck and Afro-Brazilian actress Juliana Alves, giving them the best for the organization "Central Unica das Favelas." This event was considered among the Brazilian critic as the most attended event between Rede GLOBO celebrities and artists within the music.
